Yes! The great Toe Revolt of 2006 is well underway, and only a day old! Keep it coming folks; let Anet know our suffering!

Tell your guilds! Whisper your friends! Come one, come all and stand with real feet when next we meet!

Hell no! We want TOES! Hell no! We want TOES!

The reason monks have no toes is from the repeated motion of kicking stupid warriors in the @$$ for running too far away!

While i know where you are coming from, having modeled and animated myself, there is no reason that the foot can be given a more anatomically correct shape, rather than the rather cubish aspect it has now, without even adding more polys. After that it is simply a matter of paining in the shadowed areas between the toes on the texture. I am sure the engine will be able to handle a texture that is bigger by 2K, if even that.

As for the feet not being visible, i agree whole heartedly, however, just how often do you see your fingers when holding a weapon?

I think its fair enough to give the characters real looking feet. Because armor(read boots) are detailed aswell... And you should see scars/tatoos just as armor(read boots) aswell. Then why arent those feet detailed?
So..
